Dr. Nadeem Husain established South Mountain Cardiology L.L.C. to provide premier Adult Cardiac Care to the people of South Mountain and beyond.
He completed his residency and fellowship at University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He completed his interventional cardiology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr.Nadeem Husain is a board-certified Cardiologist with additional training in Interventional Cardiology. He treats patients dealing with a wide range of acute and chronic heart diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart attacks, abnormal heart rhythms, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, heart valve disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, preventive Cardiology, peripheral arterial diseases,pregnancy-related cardiac problems, and congenital heart defects.
Dr. Husain completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he trained under his well known chief of cardiology, Douglas Weaver; former President of the American College of Cardiology. He has a background in teaching and was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Alabama from 2001-2005. He was nominated for the Best Resident during his training there. He also received the prestigious 1st Place Award at the Annual American College of Cardiology, Alabama Chapter Meeting and the Young Trainee Award presented at the Southern Societies
Meeting.
Dr. Husain has participated in several research studies and has contributed to over 15 publications in major medical journals, many of which he was the primary investigator. Dr. Husain also participated in over 20 research presentations at many national society meetings. His research concentration was in the areas of Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction and Coronary CTA radiation.
